Most people who have turned to the internet for additional income have at one point or another come across the Clickbank marketplace. Clickbank facilitates the transactions for over 12,000 digital product vendors, as well as over 100,000 active affiliate marketers. As an affiliate marketer of Clickbank, you can market and advertise someone else’s product with little or no experience, and make as much as 75% of the sale price, with the average commission made right around $15-$30.
While there is money to be made as an affiliate marketer with Clickbank, the low transaction amount requires that you sell in high volume in order to make any substantial income. Not to mention, you will need some monstrous traffic sources to generate any sales or business leads…which can be incredibly expensive. This poses a problem for most people, especially if they are just beginning their online career. Without a strong online presence, the only way to drive traffic to vendor websites is through paid advertising methods, which quickly eats away at the profits.
