The Blue Heron replacement bonnet & poppet assembly for the Febco 765 Pressure Vacuum Breaker is the newest product to hit the market. It’s an aftermarket product manufactured by a company in Loveland, Colorado, and it’s been certified by the International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials (IAPMO).
So far, it’s been reported to last longer than its Febco 765 OEM counterpart, and potentially handle higher pressures without compromising the purpose of preventing the backflow of water. This is the highest selling Febco 765 product, and far less expensive than the OEM counterpart.
The Blue Heron Febco 765 replacement is sold in many hardware stores, as well as a couple of different websites online. The biggest of these is Amazon, where it qualifies for free shipping for orders over $25 or for Prime Members.
